Bronze period
The philosophy of Romanovsky’s “bronze” consists in his idea of expressing deep psychological inner world of an artist. He materialized all intended ideas with easiness, style and sense of humor. Fantastic but in the same time absolutely real personages created by the artist move spectators to another dimension of bright images that gratify, wake and provoke us…
In 1990 Romanovsky created the first bronze sculpture “Tsoi – A Star Called The Sun” that was dedicated to legendary Soviet singer and poet Victor Tsoi.
By some quirk of fate a few copes of this work were presented to Igor’s cult-figures Igor Talkov and Yuri Shevchuk. Later Igor Talkov ordered his personal sculptural portrait.
